Our History
Established in 1985, Darul Uloom Hyderabad has been a beacon of Islamic education in the historic city of Hyderabad. Founded with the vision of providing authentic Islamic education while maintaining academic excellence, our institution has grown from a small madrasa to one of the most respected Islamic educational centers in South India.
Over the past four decades, we have graduated thousands of students who have gone on to become scholars, teachers, community leaders, and professionals in various fields, carrying forward the torch of Islamic knowledge and values.

Our Founder
Maulana Abdul Rahman Sahib
Founder & Principal (1985-2010)
A distinguished scholar and educator, Maulana Abdul Rahman Sahib dedicated his life to the cause of Islamic education. He completed his studies from Darul Uloom Deoband and spent several years learning from renowned scholars across the Islamic world.
His vision was to create an institution that would not only preserve the traditional Islamic sciences but also prepare students to face the challenges of the modern world with wisdom and faith. Under his leadership, Darul Uloom Hyderabad became known for its academic rigor and spiritual guidance.
Key Achievements:
- Established the first Hifz program in the region
- Introduced Arabic language courses for the community
- Authored several books on Islamic jurisprudence
- Trained over 500 teachers and scholars
